Jihaa this is it! Backbag is already on the way to the plane and it is time for me to open up this travel blog with my very last post from Europe for the next 8 months.
Packing itself was already quite a challenge; how to include two months summer travelling clothes and 5 months spring/business clothes for the Shanghai University. It took one (not-that)happy Mixing&Matching day but at least now it feels I have everything with. And most importantly, the weight of the backbag is only 11 kg + handluggage 5 kg. From my previous times I know how irritating it is to carry backbag that is too heavy and with clothes and things you don't really need at all.
On the airport check-in I got my first personal victory of the day, upgrade into business class since the plane is fully booked and they want to support firstly Finnair regualr customers ( I have to say I have been quite lazy to use my Finnair card but apparently it actually is worth to use).
So travel plan for the next couple of months: Today Hong Kong, tomorrow Bangkok for couple of days and then southern Thailand (Koh Tao) with its awesome diving possibilities for around one week. Then the road is open. Countries to visit -list includes Thailand, Kampodza, Laos and possibly Myanmar. Then finally Shanghai on 18th of February.
