The Grape:
Super delicious food, very cheap, great location, nice atmosphere, Grape got it
all. No need to say more. Better go with bigger loft of people to order
different dishes from menu. We were 10
person group, ate about 25 dishes, drank MANY beers and the final bill was around
700 RMB in total. So far the most delicious dishes I have eaten here!
Barbarossa:
Located on the People’s park this is absolutely the best place in town to enjoy
the sunset. Also the juicy drinks are the best ones I have experienced in
Shanghai with 50% off on Happy hours which is every day at 5-8PM. My favourite?
Apple bomb.
Apple bomb on the left, some sparkling wine drink on the right - Both SUPER delicious |
Radisson
tower: Magnificent view over Shanghai. Cocktail bar on the top floor and
spinning restaurant one below. A bit pricy but perfect one-drink stop to enjoy
the famous Shanghai lights. On Sunday’s one of the town’s best brunch places;
The spinning restaurant holds five different restaurants and with brunch you
can enjoy all of those. With 400 RMB you get all you can eat and drink (Real
champagne) menu on top of the city.

Lynne’s:
Sunday all-you-can-eat Chinese brunch with 80 RMB. Great way to get to know to
Chinese dishes. And the food is absolutely magnificent! Always remember the table reservation. If you go there try
sesame filled chicken breast.
Whisk:
Specialised in chocolate desserts but also provides food. Great wines and of
course whisky. No need to say how much I like this with my passion for chocolate...

100 Avenue:
Bar is located on the 92nd floor on Shanghai World Financial center
with terrific view. Every Wednesday 8.30-10.30 PM free sparkling wine for
ladies. Spotted: Nicholas Cage J
Bar located on 92nd floor. The 3rd highest bar in the world |
Zapata’s:
Spanish bar with terrific outdoor terrace. Can’t wait the summer weathers to
test the terrace area. Inside quite regular. Free margaritas every Monday from
10-11 PM and super cheap drinks on Thursday evenings, only 25 RMB.
Next door to Zapata's is La Cocina. Nice interior and great tapas. Also Ladies night every Wednesday with free flow of sangria and beer.
Perry’s/V2:
Perry’s upstairs and V2 on downstairs. Student bar with super cheap beers (10
RMB for large beer). This place is almost already turning into our regular
last-stop-before-club-place.
Blarney
Stone: Irish bar with live music. What else there is to say really? My favorite bar. Was also our
base camp for St. Patrick’s day celebration.
Happy St. Paddy's day celebrator |
